Why Is There A 50 Visual Limit Per Storyboard?

You know how the old saying goes – “The More the Merrier.” Well… Optix believes in a different philosophy, which is why we limited the number of visuals to 50.

Optix strives to deliver compact, visually-appealing storyboards for teams to analyze & interpret data trends. Having too much on a storyboard can be overwhelming and you may find yourself lost! For better organization, we placed this 50-count visual limit in hopes of preventing this issue.

If you have datasets that require more than 50 visuals, we highly recommend taking advantage of the “tags” function. By tagging multiple storyboards with the same tag, you can group together your storyboards in the storyboard manager.

If you need to manage multiple storyboards at a time, we suggest a couple different options:

  • Open each storyboard in a new tab/window to look at your storyboards back-to-back(-to-back-to-back…).
  • If there is no need to modify your storyboards, you can download your storyboard as a .pdf and open it up in your reader.

If these options are not suitable and you are finding trouble with the limit on visuals, please reach out to our support team through our “Contact Us” page and one of our representatives will be more than willing to work something out with you.
